Janet's feedback about Francisco (Intermediate Trombone tuition near Glasgow)
He is very enthusiastic and encouraging. And a stickler for discipline (musical) and detail. Which is what I need. So I do feel that the lessons are going well. It is so good to have personal contact with a tutor. I did not want just online lessons. Francisco is a classical player whereas I come from a jazz background but he is working with me on developing into a trombonist fit for an amateur orchestra and is not wedded to taking grade exams which again is something I did not want. I wish to enjoy my playing!!
Martin's feedback about Adin (Casual Accordion tuition near Glasgow)
I started with Adin a few months ago with accordion lessons and I have to say it has been excellent and I am really enjoying. Adin is very patient, professional and you can see he really enjoys what he does.
Henna's feedback about Naho (Beginner Singing tuition near Glasgow)
Having lessons with Naho was a great experience. I learned a lot about the voice when to comes placement and when it came to singing in higher. I saw myself improve and gave me the confidence to reach notes I thought I wasn’t able to.
Brian's feedback about Bethany (Beginner Piano tuition near Glasgow)
Bethany is a phenomenal teacher and a true artist. We had several lessons together and she took me from absolute, can't play a note, beginner through to learning my first Enaudi piece. She also taught me the fundamentals and pointed me in the right direction with regards practice. She has a lovely, kind and gentle approach to teaching which is perfect for children and beginners as well as being an emmence talent with great skills and technical ability that makes her a rare find for students of any level who are blessed enough to have her as a teacher.
Siva's feedback about Robert (Casual Clarinet tuition near Glasgow)
Easy to understand, is very patient, and very good in teaching. I would highly recommend Robert for anyone wanting to learn music.
John's feedback about Andrew (Intermediate Bass Guitar tuition near Glasgow)
Andrew is excellent teacher and mentor. He is really knowledgeable and encouraging in his guidance, readily able to provide workable examples, while being flexible enough to allow scope for exploring areas of your playing that you may want to understand and develop further. Cracking guy, excellent musician. I would highly recommend Andrew if you are looking to grow and develop your skill base.
Geoff's feedback about Gillian (Beginner Piano tuition near Glasgow)
As an adult learner on the ABRSM path for the piano, Gillian has proven to be an incredible teacher. In my experience, a good teacher isn't just knowledgeable (which she is), but they are also someone who creates a safe and enjoyable space for learning to occur. Learning an instrument is such a lengthy process that it's important the teacher possess those intangible qualities. Thankfully, Gillian has them. Our weekly lessons are hard, but fun. She is patient when I make errors, and brings a lightness and good humour to the practice. She introduced me to exercise books that I hadn't even heard of, and I feel confident each week in following our plan. She also makes herself accessible, and more than once has gone out of her way to help me resolve a piano problem outside the lesson. I feel like every week I'm improving, that she knows just how much to push me, and the piano has become such a rewarding hobby. Highly recommended as a piano teacher! Update 6/5/23: Since I first began with Gillian a little over 2 years ago, we have went on a wonderful journey! After a year, I managed to pass the Grade 1 exam with distinction. A year later, I came out with a merit in the Grade 3 exam. Much of this is due to Gillian's skill and character as a teacher. Lessons with her form some of my favourite times of the week. I look forward to tackling the Grade 5 exam next, and continuing with her on this delightful piano journey. Through such an extended period together, I can even more strongly recommend her to those looking for an excellent teacher :)
