Paul's feedback about Eleanor (Intermediate Violin tuition near Glasgow)
Eleanor did not stop even for a second to consider an unusual request of helping me (after 45 years since I put the violin down ) to learn and play a piece at my special birthday party for my friends, family and wee special person ( my wife ). It was an unusual request in a few ways, firstly I asked her to score the ‘middle A’ or ‘ Bridge ‘ in Niel Young’s Harvest moon, then she had to develop it to suit my ability, she also had to start me back on the scales and strategically get me moving again sufficiently to achieve my goal. In three weeks Eleanor had me ready to play and I had the best birthday party …. Ever! Her patience and adaptive teaching skill is fantastic. I am so grateful.
Annemarie's feedback about Eleanor (Beginner Violin tuition near Glasgow)
Eleanor has been teaching my 9 year old son for one year now. He really enjoys his lessons and is making good progress with the violin. Eleanor has been very patient and understanding in her interactions with him. My 6 year old is asking to go for violin lessons with Eleanor now too.
Dora's feedback about Eleanor (Beginner Violin tuition near Glasgow)
I had 0 experience with violin before starting lessons with Eleanor but she was extremely patient and helped me in every way she could. I really enjoyed our lessons and watching the steady progression I made. I would 100% recommend Eleanor as a teacher for both beginners and more advanced students as she is a very supportive teacher and a great violinist :)

My two children (7 and 5) absolutely love Rachel! She is very good at engaging with them. She is kind and patient with both of them. I feel lucky to have found such a talented teacher to help guide my children on their musical journey.
Matthew's feedback about Penny (Casual Violin tuition near Glasgow)
I had so much fun at this lesson. The delivery was engaging and welcoming, I felt comfortable enough to focus on my music techniques. Both tutors were very well read and practiced offering their personals insight’s throughout the lesson. Didn’t feel out of my depth once, highly recommend!
Susannah's feedback about Sophie (Beginner Violin tuition near Glasgow)
My daughter is really enjoying her lessons and it was very easy to find and book a local teacher.
Lucy's feedback about Claire (Beginner Violin tuition near Glasgow)
Great first lesson though claire was very clear with information and what the agenda was for class and what I needed/ was looking for. I’ve picked up violin again after 25 years so was nervous at first but Claire put me at ease. Looking forward to the next class.
Daniel's feedback about Giulia (Intermediate Violin tuition near Glasgow)
This is my first time using First Tutors, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I feel so lucky to have found Giulia. With every lesson I have seen a notable improvement in my playing. Giulia has helped not just in improving my technique but has taught me much of the musical theory which I now realise is a vital part of learning to play the violin which I had been lacking whilst trying to teach myself. Giulia has helped in finding pieces suitable for my needs and in targeting the specific areas I need to work on whilst praising the areas I perform well in. I have left every lesson excited to practice and work on what we had covered in the lesson. A brilliant teacher!
