We are very pleased that we found Shirley. She is very well prepared and knowledgeable. She has a great teaching style and personality for teaching. My son was a bit worried about having a tutor one-on-one because he is in the shy teen stage. Shirley has obviously dealt with teen awkwardness a lot. She made him feel immediately relaxed by being so confident, friendly and no-nonsense. He said Shirley seems really kind, knowledgeable, easy to interact with and chat to, and has a good sense of humour". My son is already reporting that he feels more confident with his Chinese, a huge turnaround, and they've only just started!

My son was struggling with his Chinese in his NCEA levels. Selena is currently tutoring him online during his Yr 13 school year. The progress he has made ( even within the first few sessions) was noticeable to him and his school teacher. Selena is a professional, friendly, encouraging and dedicated tutor. She is clear in her teachings, instructions and correspondence. My son feels very comfortable and happy to work with her and finds her lessons to be of great value.
