Information About Arun - Galway tutor

Personal Description:

I have been teaching computer skills for over 20 years with Age Action Ireland to mature students. The subjects ranged from delivering lessons on Microsoft word to Microsoft excel and even web design using WordPress. I also delivered photography and film lessons to students of all ages. Recently, I have completed my diploma in education and have registered with The Teaching Council of Ireland. This means that you are insured quality in every lesson delivered by me.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 20 years’ experience in teaching IT related subjects and film and photography to students of all ages. I have worked for Age Action Ireland, GMIT Galway and Crumlin College Dublin. I also have experience in delivering online classes via zoom and Microsoft teams.

Approach to Grinds:

My motto is empowerment. I have a student-centred approach to teaching and value all student’s life experience. I encourage all students to share their life experience in all lessons where possible. There are multiple ways of doing things and so much that we can learn from each other at the same time. All my lessons are planned and with each student, I conduct an assessment of needs, ensuring that every student has their educational needs met.
