Personal Description:

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at SETU Carlow. With a background in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc.) and Energy Systems Engineering (M.Sc.), I have developed a strong foundation in math and physics. I have a patent to my name and have gained valuable industry experience during my one-year work in the field. As an engineer, I have extensively worked with math and physics concepts, which has equipped me with a deep understanding of these subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2024, I received a Certificate in Teaching and Learning (Minor Award, Level 9) from South East Technological University (SETU), which enhanced my pedagogical skills and deepened my understanding of student-centered learning approaches. I have served as a Teaching Assistant for three years at the university level. During this time, I had the opportunity to teach Computational Fluid Dynamics, Mathematics 1, and Heat Transfer (Convection). I have also been responsible for teaching courses such as Management Studies, Physics 1, Mechanics of Materials and Fluid Mechanics Labs at SETU. Additionally, I have experience teaching software tools such as Solidworks, Autocad, and Ansys Fluent. This diverse teaching experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of different subjects and teaching methodologies. I have honed my skills in explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, fostering an engaging learning environment for students.

Approach to Grinds:

When it comes to teaching, I believe in a student-centered approach. My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts. I emphasise the importance of practical applications and real-life examples to help students connect theory with the world around them. By adapting my teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style, I attempt to create a deep understanding and enthusiasm for math and physics. I aim to encourage students to develop problem-solving skills and achieve their academic goals.
