Personal Description:

I am an experienced and passionate Music and Geography teacher in one of Irelands leading schools in South Dublin. Outside of teaching I love travelling, playing music and going to concerts. I am a classically trained musician and teach both piano and singing. I am a positive, easygoing person and I always build a good rapport with the students I work with.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach in a high achieving school in South Dublin. I have been teaching here for 15 years. I am well qualified and have over 20 years experience. I also work as an examiner for the SEC, so I have in-depth knowledge of how the Junior and Senior Cycle is marked for both Music and Geography.
I focus on equipping students with the skill set to achieve their full potential.

Approach to Grinds:

My primary focus when giving grinds is understanding the individual needs of each student. I tailor my approach based on the students strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning styles. I break down difficult topics into manageable sections. Using clear explanations and examples. I ensure that students fully grasp fundamental concepts before moving on. I incorporate past exam questions and sample answers into lessons, helping students develop confidence in applying their knowledge in exam situations. I also focus exam strategy and time management. Ultimately, my goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to equip them with the skills and confidence they need to become independent learners.
