From the start, I was taught form, poise, position, how to hold the bow, what the strings are, how to tune, amongst other things. Amazing for a first lesson. My learning has only been limited by how much I can process and not how much knowledge and know-how she can give. Not only does she have a very effective teaching style, she also has the ability to give me that much needed confidence boost in my lessons. If you have never had a good teacher in your life, you will. And with that, I am pleased to recommend Sophie as a tutor.

Only had a couple of lessons so far, but I have to say I was impressed by how fast Bethany got a feeling for my knowledge and weaknesses, and she managed to teach me a lot right from the first lesson, both by correcting my mistakes and by making me aware of some areas of knowledge that I was lacking in. She's very nice and the lessons have a good vibe, I'd recommend Bethany to anyone hoping to improve their piano skills and knowledge!
