I have nothing but praise for Sam. He is a brilliant teacher and saxophonist, very laid back and puts you at ease. Sam will go out of his way to get you started and make learning accessible for everyone. At the time of writing this he offers a free taster session as well as 30min sessions for £15 and even hires his instruments out for a great price which makes learning so much easier to access for a lot of people. Most importantly learning with Sam is a lot of fun and he is very encouraging. If you are hesitant I really recommend a taster session and going from there :)

Despite the barrier of a computer screen, she knows exactly what she’s looking for and notices the smallest of things, correcting them to make the biggest difference. She knows her subject inside out, understands the needs of her students and makes her lessons enjoyable with a sense of humour too. What a great teacher! I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Thanks Joe for the way you are teaching Steff. He tells me that you are a good laugh, play the sax very well and know everything there is to know about saxophones! He doesn't want you to be more strict, he thinks you do tell him to be quiet if he is pushing his luck and moaning too much. As I said, Steff feels that you both know that he's not being too serious when he starts whining. Thank you for you patient, calm approach. His pieces are certainly sounding much smoother than they were, and I can see it helps him all-round with concentration, capacity to practice and rehearse and having patience with more challenging tasks.
