My 5 year old son started taking piano lessons from Mary about 8 months ago and it has been such a fantastic experience. As a parent who has never played a musical instrument, this has contributed to my musical education as well. Mary is very good with children and knows how to engage with them and keep their attention which can be extremely challenging. The lessons are structured in such a way that my son is able learn quickly and gain confidence in playing the piano without getting muddled up in theory (whilst that is being learnt is a practical and pragmatic way). All of this happens via Zoom supported by additional videos which are extremely useful for playing along and practicing. I sincerely recommend Mary to any parent who would like to start their children on piano.
