Katy is a tremendously talented young violinist. She played a number of instruments and bows with us and she could adapt to the individual requirements of each violin and bow with consummate ease. For example, the smaller Ruggieri was played so beautifully and the sound she drew from it, simply divine. This is considerably smaller than her usual violin but she adapted very well to it. Her feedback on each bow was accurate and correlated with the opinions of much more experienced/older players. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone seeking a teacher or 'violin trialling' for auction/private buyers. We look forward to seeing Katy again and her trying some early period Cremonese instruments and more bows. Nick and Roula.
