Shane's feedback about Adam (Beginner Percussion (Drums) tuition near Liverpool)
I have been having lessons from Adam while at University this year starting as a strict beginner. He is a great teacher, very attentive and ensures I am using proper techniques. I started as a beginner and I am now on my way to learn more advanced groves and songs with more practice. The tutor provides written sheet music for drum groves and is happy to facilitate anything you want to explore musically ranging from simple pop/ rock songs and more advanced musical genres such as jazz and drum and bass. So far, we have worked on many things such as the Moeller technique, holding the stick properly, Ringo and John Bonham beats, triplet rhythms, simple paradiddles, bass drum displacement exercises, drags and flams etc. Moreover, we covered how to incorporate all of these techniques and more, creatively to make new music. I will continue using this teacher next academic year. Recommended tutor A +++
