Brilliant tutor. Nice relaxed lessons both at James’ home and online. Incredibly knowledgable in music theory and really feel I’m improving with his help. Also lots of help and assistance with instrument servicing, repairs and advice regarding set up, mouthpiece, reeds etc. Thanks James. Highly recommended.

Paul's feedback about Alicia (Casual Saxophone tuition near Solihull)
Dear Alicia, I am so sorry that I didn't take the opportunity to have further saxophone lessons but I think the sax is not for me. You were very kind and understanding and I thank you for teaching me the notes G, A and B! You are clearly a very good teacher and I wish you all the best for the future. Best wishes, Paul E
Joanna's feedback about Lynden (Casual Saxophone tuition near Bedford)
Lynden is really good teacher. He helped me so much. I've hired my saxophone a month ago and I can already play some of the songs and I'm 30, didn't think I would ever be able to play saxophone. He helps me making my wishes come true. I do recommend him and I can tell you all it is never to late to start! Jo x
Ian's feedback about Daniel (Casual Saxophone tuition near Stratford-upon-Avon)
Dan has been a fantastic tutor. My aim was to have fun, learn something new and in a relaxing environment. Dan achieved all of these and I've learn a lot in the lessons I've had. Dan has been considerate to a few lessons I had to cancel due to emergencies and always tried to accommodate my lessons, replying to emails and messages within a timely manner. I hope to continue my lessons with Dan! Thoroughly recommended!!
Ian's feedback about Andy (Casual Saxophone tuition near Aberdeen)
Just had my first saxophone lesson at the age of fifty. Andy put me at ease straight away and explained everything well. I came away from my hour lesson very happy and thanks to Andy's excellent tutor skills I am confident I can learn to play the saxophone in time.
Annette's feedback about Greg (Casual Saxophone tuition near Leeds)
Found Greg to be very knowledgeable. He was able to quickly assess my ability and help me fill in gaps in learning. He also suggested some useful and practical ways for me to improve. The lesson was unrushed and relaxed while at the same time I felt I gained a lot from it. Looking forward to continuing my lessons.
Alex's feedback about John (Casual Saxophone tuition near Leigh-on-Sea)
I have only had 1 lesson with John so far. I have found him to have an easy going and friendly manner also I have learned more in this 1 visit due to his in-depth explanation of technique
Shamsi's feedback about Rob (Casual Saxophone tuition near Birmingham)
Is a relaxed, happy and mild mannered tutor, who provides a bespoke learning programme for his students. He teaches at the pace of the student and there is no pressure, and only motivation. He travels to the students to teach. He is always punctual and is available for lessons at the weekends and in the evenings, there is flexibility. In order to encourage homework, he can provide supplementary notes via email which can be diagrammatic and pictorial as well as music sheets with additional notes. These notes are created individually for the students as he quickly understands how each of his students learn. I am an adult learner with no experience in Music. I am learning as a casual learner. Initially I wanted to learn the Saxophone "blind"… in other words - in the least Academic way possible. After a few lessons, Rob has inspired me to take a step forward into the World of Reading Music and Music Theory. As I am learning Guitar elsewhere, he is happy to answer questions regarding Music being a universal language amongst all Musical Instruments. There are overlaps and some differences. Rob has taught me how to maintain my Saxophone and has suggested items to buy to maintain Saxophones. And accessories and how to use them. I look forward to lessons and find them fun.
