My 11 Son really enjoyed his trial lesson with Ike and would love to continue learning from him. My Son wasn't keen on doing online lessons but Ike made it easy. Ike focused on the basics like how to position his hands and fingers, exactly what my Son had been missing. Ike is both professional and passionate about the Double Bass. I got a second hand double bass for my birthday which I couldn't get very far with on my own but I am really enjoying my double bass lessons with Samuel. He has helped me set up the instrument practically and we seem to get through a lot each time - but it's really clear and well explained. I am feeling more confident with each lesson. He also explains bits of music theory (which I could really get the relevance I was trying to learn another instrument as a child) and this is helping to learn the instrument more fully. He is a relaxed presence to learn from and I would recommend him as a tutor wholeheartedly!
