Ike focused on the basics like how to position his hands and fingers, exactly what my Son had been missing. Ike is both professional and passionate about the Double Bass. I got a second hand double bass for my birthday which I couldn't get very far with on my own but I am really enjoying my double bass lessons with Samuel. He has helped me set up the instrument practically and we seem to get through a lot each time - but it's really clear and well explained. I am feeling more confident with each lesson. He also explains bits of music theory (which I could really get the relevance I was trying to learn another instrument as a child) and this is helping to learn the instrument more fully. He is a relaxed presence to learn from and I would recommend him as a tutor wholeheartedly!
