Emily's feedback about Saudi (Intermediate Arabic tuition near Wakefield)
Saudi is a thoughtful and insightful teacher, always very hospitable and generous both with his knowledge and his time. Because of his expertise in linguistics, of European languages as well as Arabic dialects, he can help me understand how the structures of Arabic compare with languages that are more familiar to me. He is always happy to answer my questions and does so clearly and thoroughly. Though we are focussing on Egyptian Arabic, Saudi takes care to help me recognise differences between Egyptian, Levantine and Gulf dialects, which suits my travel and research interests across North Africa and the Middle East. As I hoped when I found his profile on First Tutors, Saudi is helping me to gain insight into Egyptian culture and to understand the importance of Islam in the formation of Arabic. Saudi is an excellent teacher - I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about learning Arabic and who wants to develop his/her understanding of Egyptian culture.

I am delighted to say that I have found Amal to be an absolutely wonderful teacher. She is very friendly, welcoming and approachable which put me at ease immediately for learning Arabic with her. She provided me with a range of options for different ways to learn so that I could find one that suits me best and she was happy to adapt her lessons to fit round my needs in terms of learning specific vocabulary - and sometimes awkward work schedule. Amal's experience in teaching clearly shows in the fact that she is very happy to make learning Arabic enjoyable and stimulating. After our lessons I have found myself looking forward to the next one. If you are keen to learn Arabic I strongly recommend Amal .
