I have had four lessons so far and Iram has been a great tutor. We’ve started with all the basic Urdu rules on nouns, adjectives, sentence structure, tenses. It is challenging but it is great to cement the foundational knowledge of the language, and she really makes sure students understand the rules and asks you questions to repeat what you’ve learnt back to her before moving on. She is encouraging to converse in Urdu even if I am getting things wrong just so that it pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me familiarise myself with speaking to people. Lessons have all been timely and organised in advance. Enjoying lessons so far and definitely recommend Iram’s tutoring to others regardless of age and experience of learner.

Syeda is a great teacher. She has good grip in Urdu and she knows how to make Student very comfortable. She has a skill to customise her lesson as per individual student. Syeda is teaching my 11 Years old daughter. My daughter was never comfortable speaking in Urdu. Now she happily accepts challenges to speak to elders in Urdu. I think late but we made best decision choosing Syeda as my daughter's mentor.

Good rapport with children! Syeda has formed a good relationship with my children aged 6 and 7yrs and they look forward to their Urdu lesson every week. Reinforcement of what they have learned by playing educational games is a hit! The pace of teaching small amounts is good and is tailored to each child’s ability. I would definitely recommend.
