Enda is a great tutor for Portuguese. Lessons are arranged in advance for the coming month on a schedule that works for us both. The content is interesting and presented in an interactive way that keeps the student engaged with the lesson. While I am still at the beginner level, so far the material has followed a logical roadmap of progression, with a new concept being introduced, expanded upon to solidify understanding before introducing the next topic. Additional learning resources and exercises are also available **E-mail Address Removed**classroom in addition to the standard course material that is taught. Finally there is also the opportunity to engage with other students studying with Edna as well. This is totally optional but it gives people who want to engage with the other students the opportunity to work on their Portuguese by using it in actual conversation. Overall I would highly recommend Edna. My feedback is from the perspective of someone just starting to learn as an absolute beginner and Edna has been a great tutor in helping me develop my knowledge of Portuguese.

I am really enjoying my lessons with Vanessa. There is a good structure but she is happy to go off topic if I have questions. The pace is good and keeps me on my toes but she is always happy to go over topics again if needed. I struggle particularly with pronounciation as I speak Spanish but she is very patient as I try and get my 56 year old brain to switch into another foreign language that looks similar but isn’t. She is flexible on class times as well and frequency. The chat function on Skype really helps as she types everything she says for you to see. Highly recommended.
