Personal Description:
I’m a fully qualified languages teacher with teaching experience in Spain, Italy and UK. I’m passionate about languages and always looking for new, engaging ways to inspire my students. I love incorporating videos, poems, and songs into my lessons to make learning more enjoyable and effective!
Teaching Experience:
After graduating in Applied languages in Italy I spent one year teaching English and Italian in Spain in a tutoring centre. In 2013 I moved to London where I got the PGCE to teach languages in secondary schools.
I have taught Italian and Spanish in outstanding secondary schools in London and Kent up to A level.
I have extensive experience in preparing students for GCSE exams and A levels/ IB diplomas.
I have been tutoring online and face to face for more than 10 years to students of all ages and levels.
Teaching Approach:
I love teaching and my hope is to pass this enthusiasm to my students by providing a calm and positive environment. My lessons are carefully tailored to the students interests and needs. I normally dedicate time to the four essential skills such as listening, speaking, writing and reading but I am happy to adapt the lesson to the student's preferences. Students will have the chance to practise speaking through a wide range of activities, games and role plays.
During my lessons I provide my students with all the necessary equipment to succeed in this exciting experience. I use books (digital too) magazines, podcasts, songs, videos, poems, films and internet in general to maintain the students' interest high and engage with the country's culture.

My son is really enjoying his lessons and has made much more progress.
He is really enthusiastic about his studies and is now keen to keep learning French even after his GCSEs so he can eventually speak fluently
Francesca is friendly and approachable but does not waste time in getting our daughter to work hard. We would recommend her to anyone.
