Personal Description:

I am a Biology, Science and PE teacher in Monaghan but based in Dundalk. I have 10 years experience teaching and giving grinds in leaving cert biology and junior cycle science at higher and ordinary levels. Last year 15 students in my 6th year class secured a H1 in leaving Cert Biology. Grinds can be given one to one or as a group and I am willing to travel certain distances.

Tutoring Experience:

In my 10th year teaching in Monaghan and have many years experience teaching both leaving cert biology at higher level and junior cycle science. I have also been an examiner correcting both leaving cert biology and junior cert science so I am aware of what is expected in the exam.

Approach to Grinds:

Using both notes and visual aids, my aim is to teach the student to understand the content and material first to allow for better retention and recall when revising. Constant learning checks and questioning throughout the session will be used to maximize learning. Exam questions and past papers will be used throughout the sessions and for homework.
