Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Theresa, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin. Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I am enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge and skills to help students succeed academically.

During my school years, I was very active in my school community, participating in organizations and committees such as the Student Council and the school choir. These roles have helped me develop strong communication and teamwork skills, and I have built a reputation as a trusted and reliable student who maintains good relationships with teachers and peers alike.

I completed my Leaving Certificate with outstanding results, including a H1 in Computer Science and Biology, a H2 in Agricultural Science and Business, and a H3 in English, Maths, and Spanish. I have been recognized with several awards, such as Computer Science Student of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in the Senior Mathematics Competition, and the Méas Mortas Muintearas Award for my contributions to school life.

My teaching approach is centered around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. I aim to help students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their academic goals.

My approach to grinds is centered around understanding each student's unique needs and learning style. I start by assessing the student's current level of understanding and identifying any areas of difficulty. Based on this assessment, I create a personalized learning plan that focuses on strengthening foundational knowledge and addressing specific challenges.
I believe that engagement is crucial for effective learning. I use a variety of interactive tools and techniques, such as real-life examples, practical exercises, and multimedia resources such as quizlet to make lessons interesting.
Providing regular feedback is essential for student improvement. I ensure that students understand their progress and the areas that need more attention. Positive reinforcement and encouragement are integral parts of my teaching approach, helping to build confidence and motivation.
Maintaining open communication with students (and their parents, if applicable) is essential. I am always available to answer questions, provide additional resources, or offer support and guidance outside of scheduled sessions.
