Information About Sophie - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am a first year Trinity student studying History of Art with Archaeology. I am fluent in French, and I would also be available as a conversation partner in addition to helping with grammar and literature. I studied in a fully French school until my last two years at school, for which I switched to the English system.

Approach to Grinds:

My final year of school was complicated by personal circumstances, which led me to develop a strict and pragmatic approach to study for my final exams. Despite doing quite badly in my my mock exams 3 months before, I managed to achieve top grades in my A-Levels.
While I have not taken the Leaving Cert as my own final exam, my approach would be transferable: careful study of the mark scheme and past papers, and applied study methods appropriate to the demands of the exam. (Since I took essay subjects, my revision centred on writing as many of the past exam questions I could, under timed conditions. My approach to grinds would be to write these alongside my tutee to better understand any difficulties that might arise.)
