Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher working in the Longford area. I am a Maths and English tutor up to and including Junior Cert and Leaving Cert level. I also tutor all subjects in the primary curriculum including entrance exam preparation. I am familiar with all of the recent changes to the junior and leaving cert curriculums.
Tutoring Experience:
I first began teaching in 2008 and since then I've caught the teaching bug! I am a fully qualified and probated teacher who has worked at both primary and secondary level over the past nine years. I am currently offering grinds to a a range of age groups from 3rd class to Leaving Cert level. I have even tutored 3rd level students and other adult learners.
Approach to Grinds:
I don't consider teaching as a job as I enjoy the interaction with my pupils. My students whether they are adult learners or not, benefit from a positive atmosphere of learning. I have a 100% success rate with junior and leaving cert exams. My students always meet their state exam targets. I offer Zoom online lessons as an alternative option to face to face lessons.
