Information About Róisín - Rathcoole tutor

Personal Description:

Hi there! My name is Róisín, and I'm a zoologist with a first class honours degree from Trinity College Dublin. I received a H1 in Leaving Certificate maths, biology and physics, and I am an All-Ireland Scholar and a Trinity Scholar. I take an understanding-based approach to teaching, so that you can enjoy science and maths while you learn!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching since I finished school! During my undergraduate degree, I was a Student 2 Student mentor and I advised younger students during their exam periods. I have been mentoring freshman students who are sitting the Trinity Foundation Scholarship exams since I received the reward in 2020. I provide exams tips and strategies, as well as discussing exam topics.

Most recently, I worked as an educator at Dublin Zoo's Discovery and Learning Centre, where I taught ecology and conservation to secondary school students. There, I learned how to make science fun and interesting to the young people who will someday save our planet!
