Information About Robert - Rathdrum tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Robert. I have a B.A. degree in languages for International Communication from Dublin City University majoring in Japanese language and translation studies and I also hold a level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). My experience also includes 5 years living in Japan with two of those years as a student and the other three working as as translator and interpreter and cultural event organizer in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture Japan.

Tutoring Experience:

Part of my duties when working in Izumo involved teaching English to the local people so I obtained my initial teaching experience from that time. I also am teaching currently adult clients the Japanese language privately online.

Approach to Grinds:

I work with a methodical and structured approach with a curriculum and lesson plan designed to help gradually build up the clients understanding and skill with Japanese from beginner and intermediate to pre-advanced level. the lesson structure itself typically is broken down into introducing the content, demonstrating with examples and proving the client with exercises in class and between lessons to help practice and strengthen their knowledge of the content covered.
