Personal Description:
Hi. I`m a mechanical engineer with over 10 years experience in the industry, which is very math/science intensive!
I enjoy doing maths/science problems as a hobby & have a general interest in science & technology/engineering.
I`m based in Brussels, so online lessons.
Tutoring Experience:
I was a volunteer giving grinds during my studies in Dublin in 2003-2007.
In my previous job, I regularly (1~2 days/6 months) gave teaching modules based on mechanics/physics & strength of materials to my colleagues (Company: 500+ employees)
Approach to Grinds:
As this is new activity for me, I would like to approach it from my engineering experience.
First, to see what the problem/difficult area for the student is & to break down the problem to get at the most difficult point.
Then focus on this point.
As maths/science are visual subjects, I like to visualise the problem; so for maths, draw out the problem & see what the problem is & how to solve it.
