Information About Olivia - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

Hi there!

I'm Olivia, I'm 24 and I'm currently studying my MPhil in Philosophy at Trinity College, Dublin. In 2021, I graduated in English Literature and Philosophy from The University of Birmingham with First Class Honours, achieving the highest mark of the cohort for my Philosophy Dissertation. After my Undergraduate degree, I spent 3 years working in the Marketing team at Penguin Random House UK, where I worked alongside books every day - I truly love to read, and love how much working in publishing expanded my knowledge of literature!

At school, I specialised in English Literature (A), Philosophy (A), and Biology. My teaching style comes from a place of genuine care and passion for my subjects; I am friendly, confident and calm and believe nurturing younger minds is the key to our future.

Outside of my studies, I am a keen swimmer and musician, and have achieved my Diploma in both Classical Singing and Violin.

I have tutored English at Primary level and Philosophy at Senior level for over three years now.

I enjoy teaching through games, so I love making tutoring lessons as fun and interactive as possible. I love learning about each individual student's learning style - however you work best, I can adapt to you to ensure you get the most from our lessons together!
