Personal Description:
Graduate of Maynooth University, where I studied a Double Major in Spanish & Latin American Studies, and Chinese Studies. Studied abroad in Beijing, China where I also gave English tutoring lessons, so I have some experience in this. Currently living in Madrid, Spain.
Tutoring Experience:
Worked as a teachers assistant in Brisbane, Australia for 1 year. Also gave English tutoring lessons to Chinese kids while I studied Beijing.
Approach to Grinds:
Natural conversational approach in order to improve listening and speaking skills. Through my years of studying Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese I have realised that there are not enough opportunities in traditional education to have a conversation in the language that you are learning. I believe that this skill is essential in the acquisition of a foreign language because when you want to put your new language to use in a country that it is spoken, it will more than likely be in a face to face conversation. Also willing to do grinds in grammar or any specific topic that you wish to improve!
