Personal Description:
Hi there, my name is Nikunj (Nik). I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I put in several hours of effort prior to each session so that you get the best understanding and help from each session. I have ample experience of delivering high quality classes in person and over Skype/ Teams during the pandemic. I am a data science senior manager working in Dublin. I have a PhD, Masters and Bachelors degree in computational biology.
I am mostly comfortable in teaching maths, computer science and science. Please read my reviews and reach out if you have any queries. Happy learning!
Tutoring Experience:
Previously, when I was based in London, I helped university students with their programming assignments. Also, I was part of YELP where we dedicated an hour every week to high school kids on a one-to-one basis.
I have tutored several students and professionals from this site. I have undertaken a Teaching module during my PhD degree, and I have taught students both at bachelors and masters level, along with JC and LC levels.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach is simple: I teach you the basics and the introduction, make things clear using short simple questions to make sure that you follow. Towards the end of the session, I give you a few tasks until the next session. It doesn't matter if you get the answer right or wrong (we would work on that), the approach matters (correct approach means correct way of thinking).

We were able to cover a large amount of course material in such a short amount of time and nik was beyond helpful, I went from failing the class at midterms to achieving a high 2:1 overall in the module, and feel much more comfortable progressing in the maths element of my degree.
