Personal Description:

I'm a qualified secondary school teacher for 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from UCD, Masters of Science in Biodiversity and Conservation from Trinity College, a Professional Diploma in Education also from Trinity College and a Professional Diploma in Mathematics for Teaching from the University of Limerick.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach both Senior and Junior Cycle classes in a secondary school in Dublin. I have experience correcting junior cycle and leaving cert exam papers.

Approach to Grinds:

I have worked in both special education and in mainstream education. I currently work in an iPad school and have developed all of my own teaching resources including powerpoint and excellent notes tailored towards exam success. These will be available to the students I tutor. During a tutoring lesson I will go through a topic chosen by the student followed by exam questions. I am excellent at breaking down topics, diagrams and concepts into manageable parts which makes it easier to understand and learn.

For mathematics I offer online tuition. I share my screen. Students can see all my workings in real time and are emailed as a pdf afterwards along with any other supplementary material.
