Available time slots include Mondays (5pm, 6pm) and Tuesdays (6:30pm , 7:30pm or 8:30pm). Whether you're a senior or junior cycle student, I have over 10 years of teaching experience in English and Geography, rest assured you'll receive tailored, individualized tuition to excel in your studies.
As an educator based in Dublin, I offer competitive rates at €35-40 per hour. Additionally, I provide the convenience of both online lessons and in-person sessions at my location. My expertise spans across various curricula, including the new Junior Certificate English course, Geography, and Music.
For those pursuing Leaving Certificate examinations, I specialize in both Higher Level (HL) and Ordinary Level (OL) English and Geography. My academic qualifications include a BA Hons in English and Geography (2.1), a Masters in Geography (1.1), a Masters in Education (1.1), and a BA in Music (with a focus on vocals).
Tutoring Experience:
-10 years teaching experience.
-HL and OL in both English and Geography.
-Teach J.Cert and L.Cert.
- Experienced LC and JC examination corrector.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach to grinds is to allow the student to not only grasp the topic or subject they are struggling with but to learn to love it. I supply topic or subject packs. I also give exercises, I give hour long classes explaining in depth the information necessary to pass exams as well as techniques for using that information in the most efficient way.
I employ interactive exercises as part of my tutoring technique. My aim is to show the student that we are equals and that I am here to help them on their journey. I firmly believe that all students have the ability to excel when supplied with the correct support, patience and guidance.
I offer one to one or group classes weekday evenings or weekends for secondary school students. I can do one or two hour blocks.

I appreciate your feedback. I understand that our lessons were limited due to scheduling conflicts. I acknowledge the challenges with using iPads/phones and the difficulty it posed in accessing **E-mail Address Removed**Classroom and completing essays. Regarding the pacing and level of difficulty, I adjusted as per your feedback to increase this, but I regret that we didn't have the chance to discuss it further as there seemed to lack of engagement when I did as directed. I would have been happy to discuss. I provided access to resources even after our lessons ended to support learning. Despite the challenges, I genuinely wish you all the best in your future.
