Personal Description:

A dynamic and highly experienced Modern Foreign Language teacher now teaching and tutoring French and Spanish exclusively.
I have gained over 25 years experience inclusive of 12 years international teaching experience, 9 of which were in France and 3 in Spain at secondary level.
Registered fully with the teaching council in Spanish,French and English.

I qualified with a double honours degree and honours PGDE.
My teaching background in Ireland, includes a broad range of secondary schools in addition to tailor made differentiated tuition for state exams and DELF and ESL and extensive online tuition.
I am fully registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland*and have up to date Garda vetting.

Tutoring Experience:

My career commenced as a 'répétitrice' / 'assistante' at a private secondary school in Haute Savoie, ESCR.
In addition, I taught English for 2 years in Lyon & 7 years in Paris in 'formation continue' language schools. Furthermore, I taught both English and French in Valencia (where I lived for 3.5 years) at a secondary school. I am currently teaching French and Spanish and English at secondary level full time where my students have been very successful in their exams. I offer tuition on Wednesdays and some weekends (exam time only).


All tuition has been online exclusively in the past 5 years.

As I have learnt four foreign languages, I am very patient and can facilitate your learning with tailor made strategies for your unique style to help you succeed.

Your Questions Answered.

1) How will my tuition be structured?

*Following an initial level test, an online course of tailor made ( renewable)online lessons to suit your study schedule, I offer

3 groups of 8 week lessons throughout the academic year which students can commence in any term.

2 classes per week nearer exams is also a further option

SEPT - DEC TERM 1 Enroll up until the first week in October.

JAN - MARCH TERM 2

APRIL- JUNE TERM 3

2) Can I choose my own timetable ?

I will do my very best to accommodate your request if feasible.

3) What is the cost of my lessons ?

If the student is happy with the teaching methods, teaching style and progress and wishes to continue with a course of lessons, these are payable in advance as part of their tailor made course.

€ 250 for 5 lessons * ( offer ) €50 initial cost of lesson

The tailor made course varies dependent on your language learning needs.



4) How can I be assured I am making progress in my language?

Your new language competency, your results and your newly acquired confidence will attest to your rel progress and keep you motivated.

5 ) Are learning tips and strategies provided ?

Absolutely, each lesson is tailored made to suit the learners aims and style and with relevant linked digital resources.

Rescheduling policy *

If a student needs to reschedule a lesson,I request 24 hours notice where possible,and I will hold the lesson as per my longstanding policy.
