Personal Description:

I hold a B.Sc. (hons) and Ph.D. In Pharmacology from University College Dublin. Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology & Biology in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Bahrain. Also lectured in GMIT in Galway and Castlebar, as well as the Dublin Institute of Technology Kevin Street.

Tutoring Experience:

A former lecturer in Pharmacology & Biology, I have taught pharmacology, biology, physiology and pathophysiology to medical, science and nursing students.

I have also run my own research lab and mentored students. Therefore I can provide guidance on writing theses; how to structure, plan and write a thesis, dissertation or paper.

Approach to Grinds:

As a lecturer, I can guide in the mechanisms involved, as well as guiding in effective study. Having set and corrected exams in these disciplines, I can aid in effective exam preparation, planning and execution.

These can be also applied to leaving cert biology and PE. Knowing the systems are all connected makes it easier to understand and learn them.

I can also assist with thesis planning, layout and execution, as well as proof reading and data analyses.
