Information About Kayleigh - Cork tutor

Personal Description:

I am a Graduate Student from Cork, in search of a job which will aid me in gaining experience for my future career as a teacher. I am described by those who know me as a bubbly person who enjoys interacting and working with people of all ages. I would consider myself to be both empathetic and understanding when different situations arise, due to the experiences I have gained from the different jobs I have worked. I have known from a very young age that my dream was to teach, and since then I have always loved working with children and teenagers. My intention for the future is to begin my master’s degree in education to fulfil my ambition.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in which I majored in English language and literature. I covered a vast amount of different English literature including drama, canonical literature and poetry. I have recently graduated with a Second Class Honours (2:1) from my university in Cork.
My ambition is to be a teacher, commencing in September 2025, intending to pursue a masters in teaching. I have worked with people of all ages in various jobs from the age of 16, and have always been told my ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in a good and kind manners

Approach to Grinds:

The grinds will take place online. In order to understand my student, I will firstly gage what level the student is at and what key aspects of the subject are in need of improvement and assistance. Each week I will have a lesson carefully planned, and extra take-home work can be made available if the student requires or requests this. In terms of examinations, I will go through exam questions from each section of the exam each week along with any added examination queries or difficulties which the student may have. The pace of these grinds can be decided by the student themselves, as each individual learns at their own pace and I am more than happy to spend extra time on sections of the language which the student may find more testing.
