As a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and a Master’s graduate in Business Management from UCD, I bring over 8 years of proven teaching experience to students in Accounting and Finance. But on top of that he is an excellent tutor, i am in my 2nd year of ACTI and to be honest i wish i had met in my 1st year, as in one sitting i have learnt things that are basic and would have made my study a lot easier last year. explains things so simply and relates questions back to everyday life which makes it a lot easier to understand. He gets your brain working throughout the tutorial but he doesnt make you feel like any question is a silly question. He really knows his stuff. I Would highly recommend to anyone.

I had just 2 sessions with him and after the 1st session, I couldn't believe how easily and quickly I understood calculations and topics that seemed like greek to me. For someone with no accounting or financial background, he made my assimilation of everything so easy, I was saying to myself is he sure this is all it is? because it was so easy to understand after his explanations. I would recommend having a layout in your head of exactly what you need to get done and the level you are at prior to the grind as you will benefit a lot more from the grind and use the time more wisely. We are all finally year commerce students that have secured contracts in the big 4 pending our grades. Having all completed 4 sessions , we feel much more comfortable for our upcoming management accounting exam. We are all under pressure to do well in our management accounting exam and went through questions , theory and pushed us to understand the various topics rather then learn the solutions off by heart. He is approachable , thorough and very understanding.

As soon as we began talking he immediately set out a plan for me on exactly what the grinds would involve and looked completely into the subject of my exam himself to ensure he could give me a precise and detailed lesson. Then when I arrived Joby had prepared notes on every aspect of my exam and had printed out all information and questions we needed for the lesson. I am studying financial management which is a subject I have great diffculty with as it is very complex, however Joby managed to explain the aspects to me in a way which made everything so clear and much easier to understand.
