Hi! I’m a passionate tutor with expertise in Maths and Physics, committed to making these subjects easier and more enjoyable for students. With over 6 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping many students build confidence and excel in their studies. My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Maths and Physics Education, which has given me a deep understanding of both subjects and how to effectively teach them.

Tutoring Experience:

For the past 5 years, I’ve been providing 1-1 and group tutoring for students preparing for the Junior and Senior Cycle Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) exams. My experience spans various learning styles and abilities, and I’ve worked with students who needed support ranging from building foundational knowledge to mastering advanced topics. My teaching has led to notable improvements in students’ grades and confidence in both Maths and Physics.

Approach to Grinds:

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students develop a strong understanding of methods before tackling problem-solving questions. I believe that mastering the core concepts gives students the confidence to handle complex problems independently.

I use Microsoft Teams and OneNote for virtual sessions, allowing for an interactive and organized learning environment. With these tools, I can share notes, diagrams, and practice questions seamlessly. For students who prefer face-to-face learning, I am also available for in-person tutoring sessions. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, and I integrate real-life examples to make Maths and Physics more engaging and relatable.
