Personal Description:

I am currently a PhD student in Quantum Gravity at the University of Oxford. I have a passion for all things relating to physics and the history of physics and this refelcts in my teaching style. I am a patient tutor and I am able to gauge a student's understanding as the class progresses through discussion and questions.

Approach to Grinds:

My philosophy toward teaching physics is that it shouldn't just be taught as a series of formulae and definitions but rather as a story. I feel that understanding why physicists felt the need to create these new formulae and ideas is of paramount importance and is critical to truly grasping the ideas themselves. I believe this approach can instill a passion for physics which will eventually lead to the student developing their abilities independently.

However, I understand that the ultimate goal of any student is to score highly on the leaving cert physics exam and as a result my online tutoring will be complimented by comprehensive, concise, typed notes which will cover everything you will need to get an A1 in leaving cert physics.
