Information About Ioana - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am currently in my last year at UCD doing English and Film Studies and would love to help non-native speakers improve and become more confident in their skills. I have been studying the language since I was little and have even gone to national competitions. I have a Proficiency-level (C2) Cambridge diploma and can now put those skills into practice as an English student and Irish resident. I would love to share everything I've learned and help people develop their skills!

Tutoring Experience:

I was a tutee, too, and witnessed different approaches to teaching, therefore I am confident I have learned from those experiences and could now comfortably take on the mantle of tutor myself. In addition, I have worked with different age groups - from the young to the elderly - throughout my volunteering activities, so I believe my interpersonal skills make up for my lack of experience in this particular role.

Approach to Grinds:

I will tailor my lessons based on what each tutee needs or wants to improve on. Communication is key, so just let me know how I can help and I will do my best to find the approach that works best for each person!
