Personal Description:
I am despite retiring still involved with training young teachers. I enjoy, not only teaching English, but also the interaction with young students
Tutoring Experience:
Over thirty years at second level teaching English and History at junior and senior level.
I have also given grinds on a one to one over the past couple of years.
I have also been a state examiner at junior and senior level.
Approach to Grinds:
I am not a note giver but rather through lively discussions and conversation about poetry, drama and novels, I encourage students to understand and enjoy their prescribed texts. I show students how to take their own notes and value their own work.
I ensure students to know their paper, how to choose questions and plan answers.
Grinds become a two way exchange of information.

Imelda is an understanding patience and experienced teacher who have passion for what she is doing.
