Personal Description:
I'm 26 years old and recently finished my Masters degree in Financial Economics in University College Cork. I'm currently working as a Senior Processing Executive having recently being working as a treasury dealer. I have a first class honors degree in business, majoring into Economic and Finance and received the the award for the top of the class.
Tutoring Experience:
I was tutoring during my masters degree, i taught over 200 students in three different modules. I was teaching two modules of third years and one module of second years. The classes were mainly Macro economics, therefore we covered a functions of GDP, monetary policy, fiscal policy and much more.
Before i was tutoring in University i was also a private tutor in modules such as Decision making and Finance and Capital Markets, these were one on one lessons.
Approach to Grinds:
I have quite a flexible approach to teaching, i like making complex concepts easy to understand. I use very simple examples so the student understands the logic and then we go from there. I don't mind what what level the student is at, i'm confident that i can bring you to the next level and not only get high marks but to appreciate the learning outcome of the module.
I like to see my students get high marks, however i'm also very interested to give them the knowledge to understand financial news, this also equips students to give relevant examples in their exams which lecturers admire, this is how i did very well in my honours and Masters Degree.

After a lesson, I found his feedback questions very helpful in bench marking myself.
He is very reliable, always one message away and ready to make compromises to meet in a way that suits you.
10/10 recommend Ian
Ian is a fantastic teacher who explained finance in a language I could clearly understand.
Since the session Ian has been checking up on my progress. He has been at hand for any further questions and reviewed my assignment before submitting.
I would Highley recommend Ian too anyone looking for a tutor.
