Personal Description:
Teaching is a passion and I have been teaching since I was in High school be it the fellow classmates, university students or people doing a research.
I have taught a class of 50 students studying together for the exam of actuarial science, specially financial economics.
From the very beginning, I had keen interest in subjects that demanded logical reasoning; which is why physics and mathematics were my preferred subjects. It was my love for numbers and passion for Finance that led me to pursue B.A (Honours) Economics from one of the finest universities of India, University of Delhi. Always amongst the best students in my course, I was the topper in Mathematics and Statistical Methods for Economic Applications in the first and second semester respectively, scoring a 100% (75/75) in Mathematics and 92% (69/75) in Statistical Methods in the university examination while securing First Division overall combined for my six semesters. I have actively participated in the Fine arts society and the Economics society in my college which has helped develop my interpersonal skills and inculcated a time bound attitude to complete every possible task that comes my way.
Doing a major in Economics has given me a good insight of the micro and macro-economic theories, econometric applications and financial economics. Apart from these academic routines, I have never let myself stagnate; hence I have perfected my knowledge in the fields of data analytics and data sciences. It is worthwhile to mention here that this was done without any professional assistance; instead it was largely through independent curiosity. I have learnt the skills (including R statistical programming) that are required to analyze data and make valuable insights into it and I have also tried my hands at computer languages and machine/deep learning concepts.
Desiring to stretch my horizons I took up Actuarial Science alongside my graduation so as to hone my pre-requisite core technical skills in finance that I would need, in addition to my heartening proclivity for mathematics, which has also been one of the reasons as to why I am keen to expose myself to the finest level of education, particularly in Finance.
Tutoring Experience:

• I was responsible for the academic result of students studying CT8 - Financial Economics.

Taught mathematics and statistics to high school students in India.
Taught statistical methods to a Phd student doing a research in market analysis.
Taught Mathematical Applications for Economics to students in University of Delhi.
Approach to Grinds:
I think individual attention is required for every student and group studies should focus on the overall development of personality and interpersonal skills.
I believe that class discussions should be such that it should relate to some of the practicality as well so that the students should be able to understand the concepts better.
Explanations which are provided in the class should be enough for conceptual clarity.
