Personal Description:

My name is Grace, and I hold a First Class Honours degree in Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Irish from the University of Limerick. I achieved top grades in both Irish and Biology in the Leaving Cert, earning H1s in both subjects. With a deep passion for these fields, I bring not only a thorough understanding of the material but also a genuine enthusiasm for making learning engaging and accessible. My goal as a tutor is to help students excel academically while fostering a lasting interest in the subjects I teach.

Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience, having taught both junior and senior cycle classes at higher and ordinary levels. Over the past six years, I’ve provided one-on-one and group tutoring (grinds), helping students excel academically. Many of my students have achieved top grades due to personalized lesson plans and my adaptability to their individual learning needs. In addition, I have taught biology outside of school to students who required it for their college courses, and I’m proud to say that one of these students is now working as a paramedic. My focus is always on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment to help students reach their full potential.

Approach to Grinds:

I offer comprehensive, high-quality student notes that have consistently led to exceptional results. Each lesson is carefully tailored to suit the individual student’s ability and interests, ensuring they not only understand the material but also enjoy the learning process. I provide worksheets covering the most critical aspects of each chapter, and I can supply and correct exam questions as needed to reinforce understanding and exam readiness. My approach is focused on encouraging students and helping them reach their full potential, supported by detailed and constructive feedback that drives their continued success.
