Personal Description:

My name is Estelle, I am 23 years old from Bordeaux in France. I am currently doing an internship in Dublin, having previously lived/worked here for 6 months. French is my native language, however I speak english fluently having previously lived in Australia and Ireland for a few years as well as studying the language for several years in school and university. Having also lived in Spain and Italy (my mother is Italian), I have a high level of competency in both languages.

Tutoring Experience:

I have previous experience in tutoring. I gave Marketing grinds to secondary school students and I think I have good communication skills which encourage learning. I am someone patient, caring and friendly and I enjoy helping people to learn.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe French is a difficult language to learn so I think classes should be fun and interactive. Using topics which interest the student can be a good way to do that. Also I focus on the need of pupils and check where there are gaps, what they want to learn, and how they learn. In this way I can adapt my manner to teach each pupil. I believe my academic background and my positive attitude are important skills to teach.
I would also ensure that when my students learn a language they do say with proper pronunciation of each word as I think this important when using a language abroad.
