Personal Description:

I am a Chinese national with experience teaching Mandarin as a foreign language. I have worked as a journalist & editor for 7 years in China and 3 years in Ireland. I have received awards in both journalism and Chinese language contests. I received a 1st class Honour B.A. degree in Journalism from Xi’an International Studies University (2002-2006). I have recently completed an M.A. at Dublin City University. I am also proficient in English.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience tutoring Chinese on a one-to-one level. While in China, I have also taught English to both third and secondary level students.

Approach to Grinds:

In addition to encouraging a learning approach to Chinese, I endeavor to instill an interest and appreciation of the beauty and charm of the Chinese language in the students. As a journalist focusing on business and culture, I can combine my interview experience with tutoring, and introduce more information about Chinese business development, culture, and public relations.
