Personal Description:
Full time Biology and chemistry teacher since leaving University of Limerick in 2015. Up to date with current Leaving and junior cert syllabus and marking schemes as I am currently teaching to that level . I have taught to higher level leaving certificate Biology and Chemistry for the past 8 years and also worked in a tuition school in Limerick city. Currently teaching in a secondary school in Tipperary.
Tutoring Experience:
8 years teaching & grinds experience. Have had numerous students receive top grades in both Biology and Chemistry under my guidance in the past few years .
Approach to Grinds:
I like to blend teaching and interactive work using past exam papers. I teach to the leaving certificate marking scheme to maximise results and points. I have previously worked as a corrector of state exams and this has stood to me hugely when teaching.
I use all my own notes that I’ve put together over the past 8 years. My notes cut down on excess information and remove unnecessary stress on students when revising topics .
