Personal Description:

Hi there,
My name is Cormac **Removed By Admin**. I am 22 years old, and I am a 4th year veterinary medicine student in UCD. I originally come from London and I now live in Cork with my family. I have a passion for the sciences, especially biology. In my spare time I enjoy reading and playing rugby for the vet college, as well as volunteering abroad in Mozambique. I graduate in 2023 and aim to begin an internship in small animal surgery. I now hold the equivalent of a degree in animal science from UCD.

Tutoring Experience:

I gave grinds in biology in the summer of 2018 to a Leaving certificate student.
I tutored junior cert science to first year students while I was in transition year.
While volunteering in Mozambique and Zambia, I taught classes in English and Science to primary and secondary students.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe the best way to learn is to encourage an understanding in the core topics, creating a foundation from which you can build and expand your knowledge. I think examination based preparation is key for the leaving cert student, but this approach will be tailored to the level of knowledge and understanding of each individual student. I will draw up lesson plans, at the end of which I will compile exam questions related to the topic being studied and work through them with the student. I will endeavour to create a passion for biology and science as a whole.
