Personal Description:

Hello, I am a final year Applied and Computational Mathematics student at UCD, and have a keen interest in many aspects of mathematics. I received 601 points and the highest result in the Leaving Certificate HL Mathematics when sitting my Leaving Cert in 2018, and have continued to work to a high academic level during my college years. I offer grinds in both Mathematics (all levels, JC and LC) and Applied Mathematics (LC).

Tutoring Experience:

I have been giving grinds to students, friends and family members for a number of years, and throughout my time at school I was a great point of contact for people who needed a hand understanding maths. I have given grinds and helped students out with both Junior Cert and Leaving Cert content, at both higher and ordinary level.

Approach to Grinds:

I have a relaxed but focused approach to grinds and like to allow the student to lead the lesson, i.e. allow them to control the content they feel needs to be covered. I value students contribution during the lesson and discourage a lecture/classroom-like grind experience. I would rather give the student space to understand what is being taught rather than learn the material off by heart. I always hope to be an aid in their understanding of the material, as opposed to helping them pass an exam.
