Tutoring Experience:

I am a qualified secondary teacher with experience teaching in Ireland and the UK, and have also tutored students preparing for exams at Junior Cycle, Senior Cylce, GCSE and A-Level.

My core subject area is in Geography but in the past I have helped students in a wide range of subjects including Maths and Sciences.

Approach to Grinds:

Within my tutoring sessions I try to help students develop self-learning skills which will help them to find ways to solve problems on their own. I usually start with an introductory session aimed at finding areas where students feel they need the most help and focus on those areas as a starting point. Sessions will usually involve reviewing previous work, discussing areas causing the most difficulty with the student and providing assistance while they complete sample problems and questions.
