Personal Description:

Hi my name is Clare and I am a qualified social subjects teacher, teaching History, CSPE, Politics and Society and English as a foreign language.
I worked as a learning assistant before becoming a teacher 9 years ago. I'm Garda Vetted and Registeted with the Irish Teaching Council.
I aim to give every student that I work with, the best guidance and learning experience possible.

Tutoring Experience:

2 years permanent teacher in Scotland.
7 years teaching in Ireland.
5 years teaching remotely online

Approach to Grinds:

I am an active learning teacher, who is friendly and accommodating.
I use differentiation in all my lessons to find how individual students learn.
Relaxed and friendly atmosphere where the student plays an active role in their learning. I provide examples, resources, and advice on essays and project work, encourage and motivate students with a positive attitude and a listening ear.

She has an excellent knowledge of the Politics and Society course and provides students with easy to manage and easy to understand classes. Her experience in teaching the course is evident from the first lesson. She is very encouraging and builds confidence in her students. My daughter would not have got through the course or the project without Clare's help. I couldn't recommend her highly enough! 6 stars!
