Information About Cathal - Clane tutor

Personal Description:

I am a University student in my final year in Maynooth University. I am currently studying English and History, and aim to go straight into a Masters of Education following the completion of my course. Locally I am from Clane, and went to Scoil Mhuire community school where i achieved 420 points in my Leaving Certificate in 2020. I too have Garda Vetting and I am TUSLA certified.

Tutoring Experience:

Experience with students in a language school and Summer camp, helped teach English as a second language to students from Spain, Italy, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates etc. I currently do conversation classes with people who are learning English as a foreign language.

Approach to Grinds:

Before first grinds session, I will ask that an previous essays may be sent to me so I can assess the level at which the student is at. Previous tests help too, but my specialisation is in English and History, both of which are essay writing subjects. Once this is assessed, if the students finds it useful they can do a test to find out what kind of learning helps them specifically (Visual,Audio, etc.) and I will tailor the session to them. I attempt to ensure they learn the best way they can in the sessions we do together.
