Information About Caroline - Limerick tutor

Personal Description:

I'm a Primary School Teacher in the Limerick area. I studied in Mary Immaculate College and took Physical Education as my specialism. I have seven years teaching experience, three of which I spent in Dubai, teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) and all curricular subjects to students. I have worked with children of various class levels, ages and abilities up to Junior Cert. I also play the piano and teach Music to all levels.

Tutoring Experience:

I have ten years home tutoring experience in all subject areas up to Junior Cycle. I have a sister with a Special Educational Needs and have worked in a Special Education setting. Hence, I have an abundant amount of experience working with children with ASD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.

Approach to Grinds:

I will ensure to focus on fostering a supportive, structured and motivated learning environment for the student. I will discuss with the students what their desired outcome is and will create a plan to cater for their individual needs. Encouraging active participation is essential to reinforce the students' learning and to keep him/her engaged in the lesson. I will tailor my teaching methodologies in each of my lessons to suit each student.
