Personal Description:

In 2020 I graduated with a First Class Honours degree from DCU in Applied Language and Translation Studies; I speak both German and Spanish. I have been studying German since secondary school and have provided grinds since 2016 in this subject. During my time in university I studied for a year at the University of Granada in the translation and interpreting faculty.
I currently work in Sales in Dublin, my clients are based in the Iberian/ DACH regions, so I’m using both languages to a business proficient level on a daily basis.

Tutoring Experience:

Since 2016, I have provided Junior Cert and Leaving Cert German grinds at both higher and ordinary levels. I have also taught German at beginner level to adults, and in 2020, I taught English as a foreign language to children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old while working as a teacher in a primary school in Spain.

Approach to Grinds:

I always tailor grinds to suit a student's specific needs and I try to make the classes as fun and memorable as possible. I'm quite flexible and I approach classes in a relaxed manner, I also like to incorporate games for at least 5/10 minutes at the end of each class to end on a good note. During the first class, I will speak with the student, talk about strengths and weaknesses in the subject and make a plan on what areas need practice. In each class, I will write notes on what we cover which I will send to you to keep for your records, I'm also available anytime via WhatsApp in case you have any queries/ questions on anything that we cover in our classes.
